Each school holiday period, we curated a jam-packed program of creative activities, animal encounters, delicious food experiences, and plenty of ways for kids to connect with nature while parents unwind.
Kids Club: Creative, Active, and Full of Fun
Our ever-popular Kids Club runs every day throughout the school holidays, designed to entertain and engage children aged 4–12 with a variety of hands-on, imaginative, and high-energy activities.
Here’s what your little adventurers can look forward to:
Rock Painting – Watch their imaginations run wild as they transform simple stones into colourful works of art.
Clay Sculpting – A tactile and calming activity, great for little hands to create animals, mini pots, or wild creatures.Bead Making – From bracelets to keychains, kids love designing and proudly wearing or gifting their creations.
Sports & Games – Burn off energy with structured outdoor games, from soccer to relay races and mini obstacle courses.
Movie Afternoons – A bit of downtime with popcorn and kid-friendly favourite movies
Mini Discos – Every kid’s favourite! Dance, glow sticks, and fun tunes to wrap up a day of play with smiles all around.
Our friendly staff supervise the Kids Club, giving parents the perfect opportunity to relax, read a book, go for a riverside walk, or enjoy a peaceful moment with a coffee.
Meet Our Adorable Farm Friends
Each school holiday season, we’re excited to welcome some very special guests, the delightful cows, ducks, and chickens from Long Table Farm!
Children will have the chance to:
Feed the cows and learn a little about what they eat and how they live
Watch the ducks waddle and splash, and maybe even feed them
Cuddle some friendly chickens and discover the basics of life on a farm
These gentle animals are perfect for sparking curiosity in young minds and provide some wonderful photo opportunities. It’s not every day you get to experience the joy of a mini farm stay without having to leave your accommodation!

Fruit Picking at Watkins Orchard
Just a short country drive away, Watkins Orchard offers a hands-on experience that kids love. Depending on the season, you can pick mandarins, oranges, or juicy stone fruit straight from the tree. It’s a wholesome day out that captures the slower, more grounded rhythm of rural living.
Tasty Food Truck Nights
Get ready for a rotating lineup of our favourite food trucks, serving up everything from gourmet burgers and loaded fries to woodfired pizzas and icy treats.
